Method for Teaching English as a Second Language (ESL/ELD)

Whether you are in a class teaching English Learners or in another situation teaching vocabulary, getting students physically involved strengthens kinesthetic connections. It is an effective strategy for developing and retaining language.

We need to take the time to contextualize language development. (In other words: Don't teach skills in isolation; teach them in context.)
